Felt Embellishments

Published in Features

The trend for using haberdashery embellishments on cards continues to grow and more and more of us are using fabrics to create our own toppers using items such as ribbons and lace.

This issue we have asked the craft stores to create toppers for cards using felt, Melanie from Crimson Cloud has created some lovely homespun cards, incorporating die-cutting and embossing techniques to give some really lovely designs. Vikki from Craftylee Crafts has created some stunning Steampunk influenced cards, using bold red and black colours along with delicate felt flowers. Both sets of cards look fabulous and if you are feeling inspired to create these cards why not try it yourself.
